A shorter journal entry for today. I am going to provide a brief outline of what I have been working on, as I need to crack on with planning materials and more development work this week.

A couple of posts back I outlined some grand plans in terms of UX design documentation and artefacts that I am planning to put together. Don’t worry I haven’t forgotten about these things, but they are having to happen gradually alongside my formative code learning and experimentation, so they will be attached to future entries.

On Monday 24th of October, I attended a WordPress meet-up or rather “Word-up” event at the Barclay’s Eagle Lab building in Brighton. The event was in two parts, the first part was a talk by prolific blogger, Livia Farkas and the second part was a user testing presentation/discussion.

This journal entry continues on from the section, “First thoughts related to this journal site” in my first post. In that section I outlined plans to test a number of WordPress themes that had been tagged with accessibility.
